Worthington Kilbourne High School
about this project
Part of a three-phase project, the first phase involved renovations and an addition to the existing high school to house grades 9-12. The overall project involved approximately 259,712 sq. ft. of renovations and the addition to Worthington Kilbourne High School, a two-story building that was originally constructed in 1991.
RDFA worked with the Architect on Master Planning for the High School in 2022. Design began in August 2022. The renovations involved classrooms throughout the building, including the first and second floor, main gym, and the performing arts rooms.
RDFA’s role was to provide the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design services for this project, including limited construction phase services to review MEP/FS construction.
Notable engineering features of this Project: Renovation and addition were performed in phases while the school was occupied.
